**** SKILLS COMPETITIONS WILL BE HELD ON July 10th, 2023, Monday  12:00 PM-4:00 PM AT Sand Mountain PARK ON TBA FIELDS FOR AGE DIVISIONS 7u THROUGH 16U ONLY.  TEAMS WILL SIGN UP FOR SPECIFIC TIMES AT THE COACHES MEETINGS.  SKILLS COMPETITION INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE POSTED UNDER THE DOCUMENTS TAB ON THE EVENT HOME PAGE.

July 10th, 2023- 8:30-10:00 AM:  COACHES MEETINGS FOR 7u,8u, 9u, 10u, 11u, 12u,13u,14u,15u & 16u TEAMS @ Sand Mountain Amphitheater Gymnasium -Albertville, AL

5:30  PM:  OPENING CEREMONIES TEAM PARADE LINE-UP IN THE PARKING LOT By THE AMPITHEATER & Sand Mountain.

5:45  PM:  OPENING CEREMONIES TEAM PARADE (PARENTS NEED TO MAKE THERE WAY DOWN to______________________ ? STAGE WILL BE SET UP IN FRONT OF THE______________ ? WHERE TEAMS WILL STOP FOR INTRODUCTIONS.  IN THE EVENT OF WEATHER DELAYS, PLEASE CHECK THIS PAGE FOR UPDATES.

HERE ARE SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR World SERIES OF BASEBALL EVENT.....

A> When does the tournament start and end?  Coaches’ meetings, Opening Ceremonies Parades, Pin Trading and more starts on Monday July 10th.  Each team will play 2 Pool Play games on Tuesday, Wednesday.

Double Elimination bracket play starts on Thursday July 13th, no team is eliminated prior to Friday July 14th, and Championship games are set for Saturday July 15th.

July 16th  will be used as weather day if needed.

 B> Is the event a Stay to Play tournament?  NO, you can stay wherever you like.  We do strongly encourage you to reach out to one of our hotel on site to get the best rate and top-notch customer service!

C>  Will you have a team and individual skills competitions?  YES!  We will offer three individual competitions (HR Derby, Rocket Arm & Roadrunner) as well as one team competition (Around the Horn).  

D> When are the entry fee and team gate fees due?  Your team entry fee is due once the event is sold out.  You can save significantly on your entry fee by signing up and paying early by February 28th. Early entry fee is $ 725 if registered before February 28th, 2023,

After February entry fee is $ 950....

A onetime Gate fee of $850 is Due at Coaches Sign-in Monday July 10th.   This grants anyone's entrance to the park for the week long event.

E> Will age divisions be separated into classes?  YES, provided we have at least 10-teams in an individual class within an age division in WS I & II sessions.

F> Do we have to qualify to play in this event?  No prequalification’s needed!!

G> Do you supply baseballs?  YES, we supply two new NFHS sanctioned baseballs per game.

H> Will you have official World Series merchandise for sale and/or pre-order?  YES!  We will have a website to pre-order merchandise. The store will be open by March 1st,2023, so that teams and parents can place can ORDERS ONLY.

I> What rules does UACS SPORTS play by?  We play by National Federation High School Rules with the exceptions found under the rules link on this website.

J> Do you offer 6u,7u 8U CP or KP and does your 13U age division play 54/80 or 60/90?  We offer BOTH Coach Pitch and Kid Pitch for the 6u,7u & 8U division and we offer BOTH 54/80 and 60/90 in the 13U age division. 

K> OK, we are in, how do we sign up?  Click on the Sign-up link under the world series tab of the home page at http://www.uacssports.com After you have created an UACS Account signed up and sanction your team if you have not for the 2023 season. Click on World Series registration and go to events, find the session you want to sign up for, click register, follow the prompts and select to pay upfront or cash at gate till the event is sold out.  At any time, you can login and add your roster and insurance.  All rosters and insurance must be online 2 weeks prior to the event.
